Sandhem Gruppen is an established player in protection and support for victims of violence. We provide sheltered housing and qualified support for individuals affected by intimate partner violence (IPV), honor-related violence and oppression (HRVO), as well as for people in complex threat and risk situations.

We are now looking for a secure and self-sufficient social worker for our operations in Jönköping. For the position, we prefer that you reside in or near the area.

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment and documented knowledge in intimate partner violence and/or honor-related violence and oppression, who wants to contribute to an organization where quality, safety, and professionalism are at the forefront.

About the position

In this role, you will work closely with individuals and be responsible for contributing to structure, quality, and development within the organization. The assignment requires that you are secure in your professional role, accustomed to working independently, and have the ability to take initiative.

Your main responsibilities:
  • Work directly with clients to support them in achieving individual goals and creating long-term changes

  • Conduct supportive conversations, crisis management, and safety planning

  • Assess needs and establish and follow up on individual action plans

  • Represent the organization in collaboration with social services, authorities, and other partners

  • Document according to applicable guidelines and contribute to legally secure processes

  • Participate in organizational development, quality assurance, and networking

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and management to develop the organization locally

The work is primarily scheduled during daytime on weekdays, with a need for some flexibility based on the organization's circumstances. The position includes scheduled and shared on-call duty by phone according to established on-call routines. A probationary period applies.

We are looking for someone who
  • Is a trained social worker with a solid professional foundation in social work

  • Has relevant experience working with individuals in vulnerable and complex life situations

  • Has the ability to create safety, structure, and trust in meetings with clients

  • Has good knowledge of intimate partner violence, honor-related violence, and a trauma-informed approach

  • Is communicative, collaborative, and confident in cooperation with authorities and other actors

  • Holds a valid driver's license (B)

Meritorious
  • Language skills beyond Swedish

  • Training in Trappan or other structured methods for working with children and youth

  • Training in MI or other evidence-based conversation methodologies

  • Experience with structured risk assessment tools such as PATRIARK, SARA, or Check 15

  • Experience in quality work, management systems, or operations conducted under permits or supervision
